Cyberbiosecurity for Vaccine Manufacturing Facilities
We are pleased to share the successful completion of the "Cyberbiosecurity Best Practices for Vaccine R&D and Manufacturing Facilities in India" workshop, held in collaboration with Health Security Partners (HSP) from February 29th to March 2nd, 2024, in Hyderabad.
This three-day workshop brought together IT professionals and scientists from across the Indian vaccine ecosystem to equip them with the knowledge and tools to implement best practices in cyberbiosecurity.

A Successful AI Days 2024: Celebrating Collaboration and Innovation
As the AI Days 2024 workshop, organized by Swecha with FABA as a proud knowledge partner, comes to a close, we want to express our sincere gratitude for all the speakers, participants and volunteers.
This two-day event explored the vast potential of AI across various sectors. It also marked a significant new chapter with Swecha joining FABA as a Startup Member.

Highlights of AI Days 2024
The workshop explored topics like the societal impacts of AI on FinTech, education, and the creative industry. A standout moment was the launch of the first Telugu AI Voice Assistant, a testament to Swecha's dedication to technological inclusivity.
Over the course of two enriching days, the Life Sciences track emerged as a cornerstone of the workshop and offered a platform for experts to delve into the BlockChain in healthcare and groundbreaking role of AI in drug discovery, personalized medicine, and genomic data analysis.
Under Eductech, Dr. Sirisha Velampalli, Solution Lead at Brane Enterprises and esteemed member of FABA , delivered a captivating talk titled "Enhancing Education with AI: Revolutionizing Learning Experiences in 2024". She discussed on the fundamentals of AI in education, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision in reshaping learning experiences.
The Life Sciences track was inaugurated by Dr. Ratnakar Palakodeti, Vice President of Persistent Systems, whose opening remarks set the tone for the depth and breadth of discussions to follow. His leadership and vision for integrating AI in life sciences underscored the innovative spirit of the workshop.
Following him, luminaries like Dr. Thangaraj and Dr. Venkataraman delved into genomics and the transformative potential of Blockchain in healthcare, respectively. Nirnith Devireddy's exploration of computational biology with AI further pushed the boundaries of innovation.
Panel Discussion: A Convergence of Minds
The highlight of the Life Sciences track was the panel discussion titled "The Rise of Artificial Intelligence in BioPharma," moderated by Dr. Ratnakar Palakodeti. The panel featured a dynamic group of experts including M Sushmita, Dr. Kishore Dhara, Sangeeth Kumar, Sid Chakravarthy, and Pavan Pasupuleti offered deep dives into the integration of AI in bio-pharma, illustrating the ethical, practical, and innovative dimensions of AI in healthcare.
